Job Description:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact, and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with Ignite Swipe’s products and services. Your role will involve maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling additional services, and working to ensure client retention. You’ll collaborate closely with the sales, customer success, and technical support teams to provide a seamless client experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts, addressing questions and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to introduce additional services or upgrades that will benefit the client, leading to increased revenue.
  • Renewals and Retention: Manage contract renewals and retention efforts, ensuring high client satisfaction and addressing any concerns that may impact the renewal process.
  • Account Health Monitoring: Regularly review client accounts to identify any potential challenges, risks, or growth opportunities.
  • Client Advocacy: Act as an advocate for the client within Ignite Swipe, communicating their needs and ensuring they are met across all departments.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with technical support, customer success, and product teams to quickly resolve client issues and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Reporting: Provide clients with insights into their account performance, including transaction data, usage patterns, and recommendations for optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success, preferably in a technology, SaaS, or payment processing company.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to upsell and cross-sell products or services to existing clients.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional service and building lasting client relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze account data and provide actionable insights to clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage client interactions and track account activities.
  • Knowledge of the payment processing industry and understanding of relevant compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
  • Background in B2B sales or working with mid-market and enterprise-level clients.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $75,000 – $105,000 annually, plus commission and bonuses.
  • Bonus Structure: Performance-based bonuses for upselling, renewals, and exceeding retention targets.
