Job Description:
The Training and Development Specialist will design, develop, and deliver training programs for new hires and existing employees, with a primary focus on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service. You will evaluate training needs, create engaging learning content, and track the progress of participants to ensure they meet performance standards. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with experience in training delivery and a passion for helping employees succeed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development: Design and develop training programs that cover various topics, including sales techniques, product features, customer service skills, and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitation: Deliver training sessions through various formats, including virtual instructor-led training, webinars, and self-paced e-learning courses.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Conduct assessments to identify employee training needs and tailor programs to address knowledge gaps and improve performance.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging learning materials, such as presentations, manuals, quizzes, and e-learning modules.
  • Performance Evaluation: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs by tracking employee progress, gathering feedback, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive the necessary training to start their roles successfully.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep training programs up to date with industry trends, company policies, and product updates, ensuring content remains relevant.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, customer success, and HR teams to align training programs with company goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years in training and development, instructional design, or a similar role, preferably in a sales-driven or tech company.

  • Communication: Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously and adapt to changing needs.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning software (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate), and virtual training tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Assessment Skills: Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and measure learning outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP), or similar credentials.
  • Experience in sales training or training related to payment processing and financial services.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Background in e-learning content development and familiarity with multimedia content creation tools.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually, depending on experience.
  • Bonus Structure: Performance-based bonuses for successful program implementation and employee progress.
